(On Busy-ness)

“Beware the barrenness of a busy life.” -Socrates

Sometimes you can have a completely full day that feels anything but fulfilling. It’s not necessarily our actions that make us happy; it’s what drives them.

Today as you move from activity to activity, ask yourself these questions: Is this how I want to spend my time? If today was the last day of my life, would I be happy with the way I’m living it? If I’m pushing through discomfort to create the future of my dreams, is there some way I can simplify and enjoy more?
